feb 26th, 2007 - it warms

Greetings from our home, where temperatures are on the up and up. It has been quite comfortable here, as we continue to prepare for the release of our debut single on WaKs Records. Specific news about the final release date and news about the promotional events surrounding the release will be coming any day, and we are just so excited. We've been working with guitarist Bob Deck and percussionist Steven Rodgers. These wonderful friends of ours will be joining us over a few of the next shows and we're really glad about it. It's not to be missed. Keep your eyes here and on our myspace for the big announcement about the official release date and the events surrounding it.

jan 27th, 2007 - it begins

Hello friends. The Skeleton Coast is very proud to announce that March 26th, London's WaKs Records will release the debut single from the Skeleton Coast. The song is called Black Ivory Elephant. While the release is strongly geared towards the UK, it will be made available to Americans through iTunes. Details about release festivities will be put up here as soon as they get to us. Skelco is extremely excited to be a part of the WaKs family and deeply appreciate their and your support in this exciting endeavor. We are already making so many wonderful friends all over the world and we are so thankful. This is going to be a crazy spring.

We have a rare all-ages show coming up in Knoxville at Old City Java on Feb. 9 with our new friends Emperor of The Sun. It will be a quiet, delicate evening at java, which is rare. Don't miss it. Show starts at 7pm with Emperor of the Sun. $5 gets you in. Punctuality gets you close to the action.
